Installation: Once WQ-SNG is installed, IP addresses must be registered to establish the connection with the SNG and enable application transactions.

Application integration configuration: The business application may or may not reside on the same server as WQ-SNG; it uses the WQCONECTOR API to send and receive data strings (or requests) via the WQ-SNG queue.
These requests can be synchronous (forwarding the string to the SNG and waiting for the corresponding response) or asynchronous (forwarding the string to the SNG without waiting for a response).​
